In partnership with local churches, individuals, non-government organisations and government agencies, Convoy of Hope’s goal is to serve people who are impoverished, hungry and hurting.
A COMPASSION MOVEMENT

Karen and her three young children were evicted from her rental after the flood in Lismore. Because of generous people they were given shelter in a makeshift home of tents as she had nowhere else to go for a few months.
Nathan, a single dad, lived in an old tent for months after the flood in Northern Rivers. It was covered in black mould; it leaked and was constantly damp.
Tracy and her four children lived in a van for five months after the floods.

When we look through the lens of Disaster Services, your investment helped families and communities across Australia and the globe. Weather forecasts can help predict when storms will form but they are not always 100% accurate. In 2022 we experienced more unexpected weather events that resulted in Australia experiencing unprecedented flooding across the nation. Thank you for being part of the healing process and demonstrating love and kindness to hurting communities through Convoy of Hope.
Over 3,000 families and individuals have been served in 2022 due to devastating flooding.
Over 2,000 Food & Hampers distributed
Over 300 volunteers helped during the floods.
Convoy of Hope’s goal is to help individuals and communities return to self-sustainability after a disaster. Depending on the need, Convoy organises debris removal, leads cleanup efforts, and distributes building materials, food supplies, home furniture, and goods. Each of these components helps in the recovery process. Karen and her three young daughters were evicted from their rental shortly after it flooded. They had nowhere to go, but because of your generosity, she was provided with tents and bedding to help with short-term accommodation while they were waiting on a more long-term solution.
