North Queensland Response: Join Convoy and Help Those in Need

The recent floods in North Queensland have devastated communities, leaving families stranded, homes destroyed, and livelihoods washed away. As the floodwaters continue to rise, the urgent need for relief is clear. In this time of crisis, Convoy of Hope is, partnering with local organisations to bring much-needed aid to those affected.

The floods have caused widespread devastation, particularly in the Shire of Hinchinbrook and the city of Townsville. Ingham, the administrative center of Hinchinbrook, experienced severe flooding, with the Herbert River rising to 14.89 meters, approaching historic levels. This inundation led to significant property damage, power outages affecting approximately 6,700 homes, and the tragic loss of at least two lives.
