Locals helping locals

A churches commitment to help fight food insecurity in their community —

Gold Coast families and individuals are struggling to afford the basic necessity of food. This is where a local church community, has stepped in and lend a helping hand. OurChurch is partnering with Convoy of Hope to create a community of locals helping locals throughout the year, ensuring everyone has access to the support they deserve.

Each hamper will cost around $78 - get involved by donating to the Christmas in July Appeal, or drop off items to The Junction.

THE JUNCTION —

Open hours
Monday - Friday: 7am - 4pm
Saturday: 7am - 10.30am

There are two simple ways you can get involved:

Shop and Donate —
You can choose to shop for items from the provided shopping list. It might be one item from the list, right through to the whole list.. Whatever works for you! Once you've completed your shopping, bring the groceries to our drop-off point at The Junction GC in Burleigh. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of those in need.

Financial Donation —
If shopping isn't convenient for you, or you prefer to make a financial contribution, we welcome your support through donations. Every dollar you donate goes towards purchasing essential groceries for the hampers. Your generosity will directly assist families and individuals struggling with food insecurity in our community.
