Western NSW Floods

Since the Western NSW Floods Convoy of Hope are partnering with local partners in Forbes, Parkes, Eugowra and surrounding areas to respond the floods in Western NSW by providing food and cleaning supplies.

Convoy of Hope Oceania Director spoke to Hope 103.2 breakfast duo Ally and Brendan to talk about how the organisation is assisting, what the needs are and how we can all play a part in helping these communities rebuild.

Evacuation warnings have been issued for parts of Forbes, Wagga Wagga and Gunnedah, while existing orders remain in place in other parts of the state, including the Murray River community of Moama. The residents of Forbes have been ordered to evacuated immediately as the central-western NSW town braces for a major “once in a generation” flood event.

Convoy of Hope are working with partners on the ground to supply food hampers and essential supplies to communities in Central West NSW.
