What is Dress Her with Dignity?
As a Convoy of Hope initiative, Dress Her with Dignity offers hope for women and children leaving domestic and family violence.
We ensure that families transitioning out of crisis are met with excellence, not just essentials.
Frequently, survivors flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs. When they arrive at the hospital, their only options are second-hand clothing or a hospital gown.
Dress Her with Dignity changes the narrative from the moment they arrive. We work with six hospitals in Australia to provide brand-new, high-quality clothing and hygiene essentials to survivors, offering a sense of normalcy and self-worth that is essential for the first steps of recovery.
It’s more than just an outfit; it’s a message of inherent value.
