A devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday, with its epicentre near Mandalay, the country’s second-largest city. The quake has caused significant destruction, damaging the airport, buckling roads, and causing hundreds of buildings to collapse across a vast area in the central region.

The death toll in last week’s massive earthquake in Myanmar has passed 2,000.

This tragedy threatens to escalate hunger and disease outbreaks.

Convoy of Hope is working with local partners in both Myanmar and Thailand to ensure unmet needs are being met as quickly as possible, providing aid and dignity to those impacted by these devastating earthquakes. The focus will be distributing food, water, hygiene, shelter, and medical supplies.
